KAUST VSRP Internship Program 2023 in Saudi Arabia

KAUST Internship Programs provide internship opportunities to 130 international students each year in 150+ different projects. The internship will last for a period of three to six months.

In KAUST’s Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) a talented student has an opportunity to work with national and international researchers and expand their knowledge of the science and engineering fields. This internship is designed to foster a diverse cultural community that is capable of advancing research and teaching methods through advanced research. KAUST has established an internship program to encourage intelligent individuals to become involved in advancing science and technology through collaborative research and education that are the core goals of the university.

This program provides students with the opportunity to present their ideas and communicate with fellow students in an international environment in the context of the Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP). KAUST research internships 2022 will provide participants the opportunity to work under the guidance of internationally recognized experts on issues relevant to global, regional, and national challenges. VSRP offers a variety of opportunities for candidates to broaden their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Further, the KAUST VSRP program aims to attract a pool of highly motivated young researchers, train them, and then have them participate in experimental research pertaining to carbon-free combustion in KAUST laboratories. The students will also be able to explore technologies related to CRISPR-Cas9 that have not yet been explored. In this way, we would be able to create an entire galaxy of scientists and engineers with advanced knowledge who would contribute to a better world.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility requirements for the KAUST VSRP Internship Program 2023:

  • The KAUST internship program is open to students of any nationality from around the world.
  • Students who are in their third year or fourth year of a BS/BSc degree program or who have completed a BS/BSc degree program are eligible to apply.
  • The GPA should be greater than 3.50 /4.00 (14/20: Equivalent to ECTS B). Some research projects require a GPA of 3.60 or higher.
  • Excellent English skills: Demonstrated ability to read, speak, listen, and write in English.
  • Possessing an interest in the above-mentioned fields.
