Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Required Language: English is the required language.
  • Eligible Countries: All countries in the world are eligible
  • Students should obtain a score of 28 or higher (ACT), 1300 or higher (new SAT), or 1250 or higher (old SAT – CR+M). A minimum of 600 in each of the SAT sections is strongly recommended.
  • In order to apply for the fall semester, you must be a freshman
  • A TOEFL score and SAT or ACT score are required for non-native English speakers
  • An advanced level math course during, or prior to, your senior year of high school is an essential part of a college preparatory curriculum
  • A grade point average of 3.3 or higher, unweighted
  • Students who have successfully completed honors, advanced placement (AP) and international baccalaureate (IB) courses at their high school
