Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for a President’s PhD Scholarship in 2023-24:

  • The candidate must have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the UK or an equivalent degree.
  • A candidate who holds an independent master’s degree must be specialized in his or her area of study, or is expected to be specialized in that area of study.
  • The master’s degree must be distinct from the other master’s degree and be relevant to the proposed doctoral program for applicants with multiple independent master’s degrees.
